ASTRONOMY DAY 2008
Another Astronomy Day has come and gone. We set up at the Best Buy parking lot out under their sign in the sea of asphalt, and waited for the crowd.
I could tell you about the large numbers of folks flocking to view the sun through our telescopes, but it seems that on this particular West Texas day most folks were taking great pains to avoid our closest star.
We did have a few visitors, and handed out some astronomy information. And we did have a good time!
